Are the jam jars piling up in the cellar? Or do you work with food and often have some left over? Then join us in setting an example against food waste.
At the TauschBar food you are not only allowed to give away and take home food, but also to enjoy it together. A large table awaits you in the NAWAREUM, where you can sample selected foods and engage in conversation with the other guests. You are also welcome to swap your favorite recipes! Cool drinks, including wine and beer, are offered as always at affordable prices.
Once again, we have the support of foodsharing Straubing und Region. Volunteer food rescuers drop off fresh food and offer remaining food afterwards in the public Fairteiler fridge. The Fairteiler is located in the Familienhaus Straubing, Eichendorffstr. 11, and is accessible Tue.-Fri. from approx. 8:00 to 17:00, and Sat. from approx. 14:00 to 17:30.
The TauschBar takes place every first Thursday of the month from 17:00 to 18:00 at the NAWAREUM. The theme changes monthly. Bring what you no longer need. Take home what you have always wanted to have. It is also possible to just give something away or just take something home.
