International Museum Day
We are celebrating International Museum Day on 18 May 2025 with a colorful program of events. We warmly invite you to join us! Let yourself wander for a few hours, chat with us and other guests and enjoy the lively atmosphere in the museum and garden.
- The pop-up event stations are distributed throughout the museum and the garden. Participation is free of charge and without reservation.
- The guided tours take place in the exhibition and in the garden. Participation costs €3 and you can reserve spots in advance. An admission ticket is also required for the guided tours in the exhibition. (This site only features the guided tour in English. For the program of guided tours in German, please refer to the German version of this site.)
Pop-up event stations
Pop-up stations for children:
- 10:00 – 18:00: Garden rally (rally sheet available at the ticket office)
- 13:00 – 15:00: Let's sow – seedplanting with our gardener
- 10:00 – 12:00 and 14:00 – 16:00: Small plants, big impact – stations for playing and discovering in the museum education room (admission ticket for the exhibition required)
For adults:
- 15:00 – 18:00: Delicious drinks (with and without alcohol) in the Bistro ErneuerBar and on the garden terrace
- 15:00 – 18:00: DJ in the Bistro ErneuerBar
